I have spent some time trying to connect my Ledger NANOS to Electrum while in TAILS. ( which, I believe, is based on Debian Linux). So far - no luck.

If someone knows exactly how to do this, and could give me detailed recommendations, I would be very greatfull. And even ready to honor my Elmer with some prize. In liquid Steem, or any other preferred crypto.
I can be reached by the same nick everywhere, telegram, discord, fb, twitter, ...etc...you name it.

Is it a detection problem? I only use it on Windows, so there hasn't been any problems for me... Linux support seems to be a pain...

Yes, windows wrk OK. But I need on TAILS...I'm to paranoid.
I think I have tried those recommendations.
All I get back is a bunch of errors from those listed linux comandline entries

Ah... paranoia... I guess you have already tried this... but it doesn't hurt to post it anyway.

This is the bug report that leads there:

Or is it possible to run a virtual machine with a non-problematic windows/linux OS?

Edit: double check that you have an up to date version of Electrum, apparently an old version ships with Tails.
