How to connect LED strip lights

Align the wires with the correct colour on the tape. The points on either side of the cut line are the points you use to align the wires. The light strip should have letters that tell you which coloured wire is going where, making it easier to align them correctly.

For example, if your connector has 4 wires in blue, red, green, and black, you can align them with the contact points labelled B, R, G, and 12V.
If you only have two wires attached to the tape, the tape will likely have a + and - sign on each side.

Close the connector based on the specific type you are using. The collapsible connector is closed by pressing the tongue until it is locked. The sliding connector has a grey or black button on each side that you press to lock the strap in place.

Make sure your connector is not obstructing the RGB LED strip for the strip to function properly.

With your strip lights connected to the wires, you are ready to connect your lights.

Choose a well-ventilated area for welding work. Since you are burning metal, the fumes are not very healthy for your lungs if you inhale them. Try welding in a well-ventilated area, or open a window to allow air to flow through. [9]
Choose a room with a fan that can be turned on, or choose to do the welding outside.
