Don't fool yourself by local S. Korea on-line news media's article on the legalizing Cryptocurrencies in S. Korea

Much like other authoritarian regimes of the world S. Korea government governs virtually everything in their sovereign territory. Within this authoritarian government there's something called power hierarchy. S. Korean government department who announced industry classification on cryptocurrencies is on the bottom of that hierarchy.

Most authoritarian government has their top power hierarchy with law enforcement related department first and then treasury related second as you cans see even from Japan. Japanese has been set power hierarchy model to most authoritarian Asian countries except communist China.

The Cryptocurrency industry classification standard has been announced by National Statistics Agency and their location at the S. Korea government power hierarchy is submerging. Unless you hear something from the ministry of Planning and Finance of S. Korea government nothing changes.

Japan has same thing. Unless you hear something from their notoriously bureaucratic ministry of treasury there would not be any change on anything related to cryptocurrencies in Japan.

When you hear something from news media in deadly authoritarian Asian countries, you need to interpret true meaning behind what the local media says. Having your fingers crossing without knowing what's what is really bading practice in dealing with authoritarian Asian countries.

Most science and technology related government ministry or any government agency is located at the bottom of the power hierarchy in most authoritarian government around world and S. Korea is no exception.

Cryptocurrencies are not recognized at all by all S. Korean government entities neither as a currencies nor a digital assets until today. Don't fooled by those ignorant on-line media's news article almost like fake news.

Unless you hear something on cryptocurrencies from the office of the president of S. Korea there's no legal stance change toward Cryptocurrencies in S. Korea.

Until then chop, chop, cheerio!
