Open Iftar in Leicester

in leicester •  6 years ago

Participating in Open Iftar this evening, organised by the Ramadan Tent Project. I was honoured to be speaking at this occasion on behalf of the local Bahá’í community, along with Jewish, Muslim and Sikh contributors. I read an extract from an address given by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in Paris, 1911, entitled “The Duty of Kindness and Sympathy towards Strangers and Foreigners”, published as the first chapter in Paris Talks. I was also interviewed for the Islam Channel.
