Hello

My name is Lelana and I am a self taught artist out of california. I recently decided to change career paths, and took a big leap heading towards the art world. Ive been at this for about 2 years, and have sold a good deal of pieces. I plan on posting my art process, I do not have a specific style that is all my own. I guess Im still in the process of finding that still.
My art is all over the spectrum, as I can pretty much do it all.
Personally, I love abstract art because it doesnt have a determined outcome, as the other genres tend to. But I get the most paid work from completing pieces in my "Undying Collection". This collection consists of almost all deceased people. Painting portraits is the exact opposite of abstract art, and sometimes i dread doing it, but my daughter says its great because its my way of honoring the dead, so Ill go with that statement, it sounds alot better than my opinion on it.
Anyway, basically if you check out my blog and my things I post here, youll be watching my learning process, a whole bunch of fails, as I'm definitely erroring a whole bunch. Besides that I have created some awesome art, and Ill definitely be detailing my process, so maybe someone else can learn from my journey.
Ill be posting some of my artwork that is completed, and give some info regarding the piece, right after this post, itd be really great to hear some feed back from any of you guys on my artwork. I dont get my feelings hurt easy, so be honest. thanks
