Von meiner Tour gestern Abend war ich trotz starkem Wind überrascht, dass mir diese Aufnahme so gut gelungen ist. Den Falter hatte ich am späten Abend am Ansitz entdeckt. Seine Haltung verriet mir, dass er sich diesen Platz zum schlafen ausgesucht hatte. Um kein Risiko einzugehen, habe ich bis Sonnenuntergang gewartet. Als die Sonne hinter dem Horizont verschwunden war, verspürte der Schmetterling keine Lust zum fliegen. So konnte ich mit meinem Stativ ganz nah heranrücken und diesen Stack aus 68 Einzelaufnahmen fotografieren.
From my tour yesterday evening I was surprised despite strong wind that I succeeded this recording so well. I had discovered the butterfly in the late evening at the hide. His posture told me that he had chosen this place to sleep. I waited until sunset to take no risks. When the sun had disappeared behind the horizon, the butterfly felt no desire to fly. So I could get very close with my tripod and photograph this stack of 68 single shots.
