Asus on Wednesday unveiled new models in its TUF Gaming series of laptops, promising an "immersive and durable gaming experience". Asus' The Ultimate Force (TUF) series is known for offering affordable gaming laptops. The Asus TUF Gaming FX504, which was first launched in India in May this year, will now come with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. Previously, the laptop came with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics. Separately, the company has now also revised the pricing of previous models.
Asus TUF Gaming FX504 price in India
The price in India of the new Asus TUG Gaming FX504 model with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 is set at Rs. 84,990 for the 8th gen Intel Core i5 variant and Rs. 95,990 for the 8th gen Intel Core i7 model. There is a new model that comes with GTX 1050 that is priced at Rs. 63,990. The new variants will be available across Large Format Retail (LFR) stores, online retailers, and Asus channel partners in India from August 1.
Meanwhile, the price in India of the old Asus TUF Gaming FX504 laptops have been changed as well. The price in India of Asus TUF Gaming FX504 model with GTX 1050 Ti is now set at Rs. 71,990 (a drop of Rs. 4,000) for the 8th gen Intel Core i5 variant and Rs. 85,990 (a drop of Rs. 5,000) for the 8th gen Intel Core i7 model. And, for the TUF Gaming FX504 with GTX 1050 and a 128GB SSD, the price is now set at Rs. 68,990 (a drop of Rs. 4,000).
Asus TUF Gaming FX504 specifications
The Asus TUF Gaming FX504 laptop sports a 15.6-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. It is powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i5-8300H or an 8th gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor, coupled with 8GB DDR4 RAM and up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics. In terms of storage, the laptop gets a 1TB Firecuda Hybrid SSD, paired with a 128GB NVME PCIE Gen3x4 SSD.
The gaming laptop comes with Asus' proprietary Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC) system with fan overboost. It helps clear buildup in thermal fins and provides control between fan performance and noise levels. The keyboard has a claimed lifespan of about 20 million key presses and 1.8mm of travel.
