Lesser celandine (Ficaria verna)

It may be a weed but hard to resist this shiny little wildflower. It also goes by the less flattering name "pilewort" as the root nodules resemble piles and at one time were said to treat the said condition. Probably another example of the pseudo-medicine named "doctrine of signatures" where plants resembling a condition or a body part would treat certain conditions related to them.
