Review of Rosa’s Thai Cafe

in letseat •  6 years ago

Rosa's Thai cafe is a kisok on floor 02 of Westfield stratford mall. Its in the food court, and is home to restaurants serving Caribbean, lebanese, indian, chinese, malaysian and Japanese cuisines. there is also a salad bar, and a fried chicken place. I have tried most of these places and Rosa is one of the better ones.

Queues aren't long. menu, as shown in pics, has starters and mains (rice + meat and noodles). A main course is just under £10. I went there for dinner today and ordered - chillie and basil chicken with rice and tofu red curry with rice for my wife. 5 minutes and the food was ready. good thing is you order at the till, find a place to sit in a massive seating area with a buzzer that is given to you. once the food is ready, just go pick it up. there no need to tire your legs after shopping by standing and waiting for your food.

food was good. when it says hot on the menu, it means hot. 3 chillies for enough heat for my dish. food felt clean and fresh. the red curry was also good. although i was suprised to see that vegetables added to the red curry had cauliflower, which is not something i remember seeing in thai dishes.

4 on 5 for this place. the food court is the best bet in westfield mall. there is another level with more expensive restaurants and an area called street in the basement floor that has mcd and subway and the likes. there is something for everyone's budget here and food court is rightly balanced between price and taste.
