Need ideas to recruit people

I have over 250 people on the transbian dating server, now I want to get some of them onto steem. I have already done this with 4 of them, 2 with accounts and 2 waiting.

The problem is the waiting, the ungodly waiting. My latest thought is to make a contest where the winners get a steem account, although that would be harder to pull off. Especially since they wouldn't be getting much in the way of a consolation price of upvotes and followers.
