From a very young age, Alan showed great interest in mathematical reading, his character was always marked by his dissatisfaction with the educational system, which is why he built a chemistry lab in his house and continued researching mathematical subjects to expand his knowledge, since in school would facilitate learning.
"Supposedly the human brain is something similar to a notebook that it is acquired in a store: very little mechanism and many blank sheets."
Alan Turing.

His first love was marked by tragedy, because when he entered Sherborne's boarding school he met a much older boy who shared an interest in mathematics with him. Turing fell in love with the boy, but he died suddenly of bovine tuberculosis, in that same moment Alan abandoned the religious beliefs with which he had grown up to later become an atheist, but he still believed in the permanence of the spirit after death.
"Science is a differential equation. Religion is a borderline condition."

The Turing machine is a calculator with an infinite capacity, which was executed with a series of logical indications that basically is the concept where the algorithm arises. This machine defined the mathematical elements with the aim of making a simple automatic system that could express all kinds of numerical operation with a formal language. With this machine arises the theory of computing.
In the framework of World War II, Alan offered his knowledge and tested his theories, with the aim of deciphering a code that the Nazi Navy used to send messages and thus attack the enemy's material aid. Turing was the fundamental piece in the division of British intelligence that was created with the aim of breaking the code of these messages and thus a machine was created capable of making combined calculations faster than a human being. This is how the code was deciphered.
"The idea behind digital computers can be explained by saying that these machines are designed to carry out any operation that can be performed by a human team."

Sentencing and death.
Alan was put on trial and convicted for the crime of being homosexual. The court forced him to choose between prison and hormonal treatment, decided to undergo a treatment of estrogen that caused terrible side effects. Until finally the suffering of Alan Turing ended, he was found dead in his house, and next to him a bitten apple that had been laced with cyanide.
"Instead of trying to produce a program that simulates the adult mind, why not try to produce one that simulates the child's mind? If it were then submitted to an appropriate education process, we would get an adult brain.”
Alan Turing.
Some curiosities about Turing.

1. Turing walked a long way from his school to his home, he later became an athlete with almost Olympic characteristics.
2. The logo of Apple has nothing to do with Turing, Steve Jobs clarified that the image was chosen randomly and that it is a simple coincidence.
3. The boarding school teachers did not like that Turing would be interested in learning more outside of class.
4. At age 15, he introduced himself to the work of Albert Einstein, understanding very well his foundations and criticisms of Newton's laws.
5. The Turing machine advanced the end of World War II by about 30 years, saving thousands of lives.
"Mathematical reasoning can be considered rather schematically as the exercise of a combination of two facilities, which we can call intuition and ingenuity."
Alan Turing.
Indulto Real.
In 2013, Alan received a royal pardon from Queen Elizabeth II. In my personal opinion, a pardon cannot be granted to a person who has not committed any crime, and Turing did not commit any crime.
