In this era of modernization, technological developments are increasing. Renowned scientists continue to compete to create the latest innovations for its development. Tonight I want to write a technological development in the field of wireless. Yes, if you speak wireless, you must imagine ** Wi-Fi ** (Wireless Fidelity), which has been very familiar with our lives in using the internet fast in data transmission and more. Now, new technology has emerged ** Li-Fi ** (Light Fidelity).

Herald Haas is a Professor at the University of Edinburgh, England. It was the person who first created the Li-Fi in 2011, and was later resettled until now through a company ** PureLiFi ** which aims to be the leader of VLC technology in the world. Technology that utilizes LED light that has been programmed specifically to be able to transmit data.

Li-Fi stands for Light Fidelity namely; a wireless network for communication systems that use light as a data sending medium.

Now we can enjoy the internet network produced by a light. Li-Fi which has data rates many times compared to Wi-Fi, this is due to the type of LED which is a semiconductor that has different properties than other types of lights. With these different properties and characteristics, LEDs are able to make to switch on and off in a few nanoseconds or billion seconds.
