Cause and effect relationships are a bulwark of science. Drop a rock in a pond of still water and the effect will be ripples radiating from the point of impact. Seventh grade general science classes teach this. Or they did.
We have removed all judgment and shame from promiscuity in this country. The effect has been the greatest number of unwed mothers in our nation's history per capita. The relationship is obvious. Only a fool would say one didn't cause the other.
So the debate, if there is to be one, on whether a mass increase in unwed motherhood is a good thing should be about how to stop dropping rocks in the pond. How do we convince the country that tolerance and approval of promiscuity is wrong? The answer is that the embedded moral standard now pervasive in Hollywood, the sports industry, the university student bodies, the media industry, and the liberal community at large will have to be changed. Hahaha.
It would be easier to make unwed motherhood a non profit venture. But then we would be criticised for persecuting single mothers. I think it's a lost cause. Our country has lost its moral compass. But that doesn't mean I have to agree in order to be a good American. But that's what liberals say we must do. Unless you agree with our new and enlightened moral standard, embracing abortion, homosexuality, promiscuity and open borders and agree that whites are inherently racist, you are not only a bad American you are an evil person.
