How about roads that owns themselves and maintains themselves :-)
Imagine a wireless vehicle to infrastructure communication enabling both automated p2p toll collection and direct p2p payments to service contractors who has won contracts for sweeping, gully cleansing, servicing street light and so on, on an automated and fully transparent trading platform. User might rate the quality of the road and frequent users might vote for improvements, which would then alter the price to accumulate currency for improvements.
It all possible and we will get there :-)
