Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    That was a very nice read. I appreciate the idea of killing spam but I am almost immediately worried that the standards will morph into yet another Facebook style of content censorship.

    Being new to this platform, I will wait and see. Everything you spoke of made sense so I’m ok with it for now...
