Radicalism and its negative view

All my life i've always heard from both sides of the political spectrum, all my role models, family members and teachers that being a "radical" is bad in politics. I always believed you had to be center one or the other, democrat or republican. I believed and followed this middle of the road ideal for so long I felt as thoigh i had begun to lose myself. I had been voting establishment Republicans into office strictly for their party affiliation and i was becoming ashamed of myself.. after much thorough research i concluded that i was not a Republican but instead a far right "radical" libertarian. But how could this be? How could i, a middle of the road, average republican have become a radical? Well ill tell you how, the shifting of the establishments powers and control in the 2016 election paired with the extreme controversy of Trumps campaign (causing us to normalize extreme behavior and radical levels of nationalism), and a world that seems to be crumbling all around us with violence, war, famine, destruction of the earth and failing economic systems. These are the main ingredients that have contributed to the modern day radical, your average Joe is no longer middle of the line, your average Joe is almost certainly a "radical" as are most people even if they dont know it. I support an extreme agenda of reform and limitation on government power. And some of my ideals may seem radical but i believe theyre necessary. I believe we should rebase our currency on the gold standard, end the federal reserve and give the dollar back to the US treasury. We should create a national decentralized cryptocurrency to provide financial services to the underbanked and to curb the meddling of the federal government in our finances and currency systems. Next we need to repeal any and all regulations on the market to allow the market to work for citizens. We need to embolden second amendment by creating an amendment saying that any ban or law hereafter is unconstitutional then repeal the NFA and automatic weapons ban. We need to privatize to road ways, government construction, and many of our programs including welfare and social security. We need to withdrawl all troops from overseas and not get involved unless we are directly threatened. We need to end the failed war on drugs that costs us millions and millions of dollars every year and release those in jail or prison for non-violent drug offenses. We need to pass campaign reform laws to allow and give third parties equal opportunity to win election. We need to abolish all forced taxation and make it optional, if you want a service then you can choose to pay into it. We need to severly cut any and all government agency including abolishing the IRS. Next we need to lower taxes on business to get them to come back to the united states and encourage companies to hire and pay their employees better. We need to enact constitutional carry, repeal all ridiculous and unnecessary regulationd such as hunting licenses, collecting rainwater etc. Etc. We also need to pass transparency laws forcing the federal government as a whole to reveal its spending habits and show americans just how much the government is hiding and spending.

As you can see the current political climate has most definitely had a dramatic effect on my political beliefs and i believe its for the best as i now see things extremely different.. if you read this and nodded your head or agreed with anything i had to say.. then you too may be a "radical" 😉
