The Antithesis of Evil is Not Good But Freedom

in libertarian •  5 years ago

One of the common criticisms I hear from people against Libertarianism is that Libertarians do not have any morals.
The truth in fact is the exact opposite. Every other political ideology denies the objective absolutism of morals, advocating instead for exceptions to moral principles and strategies to achieve the greatest good.

This principle of the ends justifies the means is the denial of all morals and the acceptance of moral relativism.

All evil stems from the violation of an individuals natural right to live their life, limited by the equal rights of others.
Concepts such as charity, sacrifice, and virtue are admirable but should always be voluntary.
