Policy Commander's Log, Supplemental

We've been working hard to get the CryptoWarpDrive working. My Junior Lt. Commander insists that the denizens of the planet below that have developed the CryptoWarpDrive won't like that we have to put a Governor on it's speed. However, after looking over the designs, we realized that without a bit of regulation, the Federation would ban CryptoWarpDrives forever.

Our Captain is down on the surface, talking about a potential regime change, but there are rumblings within the ranks about whether a potential new Chairman will be able to get our fleet of ships off the ground. I for one am satisfied with the challenging candidate for Chairman, and will see if I can lend some support.

I got into a minor disagreement with Commander Redshirt today as well. I may have overreacted. But then, I'm the Policy Commander, not a diplomat.

All in all, we were able to brief the Captain on the abilities of the CryptoWarpDrive, and we're satisfied that we can head off potential disaster, for both the denizens of the planet below, and our own citizens, who might potentially invest in more CryptoWarpDrives.

The other Commanders are doing their thing, we finally got some of our PolicyShields up, an our DeflectorPage is working well. Only time will tell if our ablative armor holds up, but we've noticed some defectors from the other faction, and we are attempting to coordinate a pickup now.
