It’s taken over a year and a half and the dmv still can’t fix the vehicle registration they messed up.
The government is also literally months behind on tax returns for millions of Americans, but if you don’t pay in time you go to jail.
It also took almost 5 months for me to get my vehicle registration refund after the vehicle was totaled by a deer.
It makes sense too, the govt doesn’t have to compete for your dollar so it will always provide crappy services.
Meanwhile I can walk into almost any private business today and get service quickly and efficiently or I can take my money next door and get good service.
Other than selfish people who want everything for free (even though that’s just a delusion in and of itself, as there’s no such thing as truly free), what part of my experience makes me want MORE government in my life exactly? Everything I’ve encountered in real life makes me want to get government politicians and bueaucrats OUT of my life!
Every experience I’ve ever had with the state/government has been a nightmare! Good luck getting me to call for more government (govt health care, more victimless crime laws, etc, etc…)
My goal is to get these bureaucrats as far out of my life as possible at this point! When I think of having to do anything with government I immediately cringe as I know it’s going to take a long time and the result will be crap. The only way anyone can support more govt is if they are truly delusional and inexperienced, but sadly that is a majority of society.
