The US Prison Industrial Complex is totally out of control! (infograph)

The US locks up more people per capita that any other nation. This is a serious outrage that very few people like to talk about. And in the infographic shown, a good portion of them are non-violent drug 'offenders'. They include every type of prison, including involuntary commitment to psychiatric prisons. The number in total is 2.3 million people robbed of their freedom to feed this despicable industry.
