The Library of Babel, The Coolest Library That You'll Never Finish Reading The Books Of!

Sah my dudes, so recently (2 weeks ago lol) I was exploring THE CATACOMBS OF THE INTERNET (echoing) net net net net... when I came across a site I had heard of, but hadn't bothered checking out. I decided to go on it that day and I'm now in love with it. It may not seem like much at first, and you may not understand the true meaning of the site at first, but it's awesome. The site is called The Library Of Babel. Bam if you want to, you can just leave this post and check out the site, but if you'd like to learn a bit about it (and not waste the time I spent writing this), then follow along!

So the Library of Babel contains every story you’ll ever hear, every word you won’t say, etc. It’s a library filled with every combination of 3200 characters. It’s a pretty cool place and you can find some cool stuff. It may seem boring at first, but you’ll get the meaning of it.

The site was inspired by the short story, The Library of Babel, which is about how the universe consists of “an enormous expanse of adjacent hexagonal rooms, each of which contains the bare necessities for human survival—and four walls of bookshelves.” It tells the story of “The Librarians”, people born into an infinite yet finite library in which they search for answers. It’s an incredibly interesting read and I would recommend you check it out.

The library, as the book says, is useless. The chances of finding something amazing are slim. There is meaning to this though. This was made to show the vastness of infinity, how human existence is nothing yet it’s everything. This library is one of the most amazing things I’ve seen in a long time and I would recommend checking it out.
