I think in terms of systems engineering principles.

At the core of it, isolated parts mean nothing.

But the RELATIONSHIPS between isolated parts form a system with practical purposes.

'So what does this look like?'

You ever had a bad decision come back to haunt you?

'Yea. Why was that?'

It's because that decision is a part of a bigger system.

'Which is?'

Your life.

A systems thinker understands that things are connected.

Your present day habits are creating your future. Make no mistake about that.

When you see the relationships of isolated components, you begin unlocking 4D thinking.

You see what others don't.

'How do I see these relationships?'

You amp up your creativity.

'How do i amp up my creativity?'

You multi task.

'What?? That's a bad thing though!'

Multitasking is bad when your strategy is wrong.
