  1. Nature is really something very special, it is about the best we can have in life, since it is a phenomenon that transcends us in all senses, and that without it we would not really be able to live. Nature really has a much greater value than we understand every day, it is a very special phenomenon, this is undoubtedly something very interesting and very beautiful to see, since nature itself has cost a lot to the Universe and it is not possible that in all parts of the same arise in the same way as in our planet a life so rich and so diverse.

In this sense, nature is a heritage much greater than we consider, the truth is that human beings are tendentiously much more prone to what is the destruction of nature in favor of our interests. It is real that technology is the way, and that from it you can achieve an optimal lifestyle, but concentrated economic power does not allow this to happen since the primitive ways of living are very profitable for them.

The following images are all very beautiful, a humble homage to nature.

  1. Nature with blue dress

THROUGHOUT millions of years of evolution, nature has handled color with incredible results. At the same time it has created mysteries: for example, when comparing the colors of the birds that fly with the dull and dull tones of many terrestrial animals, especially mammals, one might ask: why are there no blue-green deer? The answer has to do with the strategy of the deer to be confused with the landscape and go unnoticed. Most birds can escape their enemies by taking flight, do not need to hide in a background of ocher tones. The flight allowed many bird species to develop a colorful plumage to identify and attract the opposite sex. The color serves some animals to hide and others to attract attention.

  2. The battle of Canada to take care of nature before the increase of tourism

View of Lake Morain in Alberta, Canada.

Suddenly, a bear appears on the edge of the forest. After the cries of surprise, motorists visiting the Banff National Park in western Canada, stop at the edge of the road to launch bursts of shots with their cameras.

"There are moose and bears here, but people do not seem very aware of the rules of the park: they leave their vehicles and approach the bears, which is not very prudent," said Tony Garland, a US tourist who is a regular visitor of Banff.

Like him, many American and Asian tourists take advantage of a favorable exchange rate to vacation in Canadian parks.

"Last summer there were many more people than in previous years," says Tony Garland. "It seems that this place is becoming increasingly popular," added this sexagenarian from Seattle, on the border between the United States and Canada.

Banff, the oldest and most popular of the nearly 40 Canadian national parks, received almost 4 million visitors in 2016.
And for the summer of 2017 a record is already forecast, because in addition to the weakness of its currency, Canada commemorates 150 years of its foundation and, to celebrate, offers free entry to all its parks throughout the year.

The increase in visitors has been on average 5% annually in recent years. For the high season of July and August, in addition to foreign tourists, more Canadians are expected than in previous years.

Manna
Although this flow is celebrated by the tourism industry, it raises concerns about the protection of ecosystems.

"Since January we have recorded twice as many camping sites as last year," said Greg Danchuk, director of Banff's tourism program at Parcs Canada, the federal agency that manages these protected sites.

This agency has the difficult task of ensuring that commercial development does not threaten the protection of nature.

"We have the responsibility to do both at the same time: on the one hand preserve the park's natural resources, nature, and on the other, offer tourists the opportunity to visit them," the official told AFP.

Tourism in natural protected areas generates an annual income of 1,500 million Canadian dollars (USD 1,120 million) and employs 22,700 people, a manna to which the government wants to continue injecting money for its operation.

Damages
However, there are those who think that the promotion of tourism is at the expense of protecting the environment.

"By law, Parcs Canada must put nature above all else, and this has not been the case," criticized Anne-Marie Syslak, director of the Nature and Parks of Canada Partnership (SNAP), an environmental organization with based in Calgary. "The influx of tourists too intense without the protection of nature is the priority literally puts the parks in danger."

In fact, while Parcs Canada places the protection of nature as a first priority, the budget spends more money promoting tourism than preserving the environment.

And between the reckless behavior of tourists who seek to approach wild animals or feed them, the damage caused to the flora, the abandoned garbage and the growing number of vehicles on the roads, the damage linked to mass tourism increased exponentially in the last decades.

While "the localities in the foothills of the mountains were inhabited mainly by miners or oil workers," said Edward Johnson, director of a research center on the ecosystems of the Rocky Mountains, "for a few years there is more tourism development" .

This professor at the University of Calgary speaks of "an increasingly strong enthusiasm in the region."

But he is inclined to believe that "it is probably a good thing, because the more people visit the natural areas, the more they can be preserved": tourism and the environment can be combined because the tourism industry generates income that can be reinvested locally, he says.

However, he considers that studies on the impact of long-term commercial development are insufficient and urges "to think carefully about the type of development we want to make sure that everyone is measuring the consequences".

"Tourism and conservation must go hand in hand," said Anne-Marie Syslak. "Tourists come here for the beauty of nature and wildlife (...) and we have the responsibility to respect and take care of these places" to ensure their success and sustainability.
