When we stop focusing on what we don't have and start looking at what we can give to others - it cultivates something powerful inside us. π«

So often, many people struggle with finding their life purpose. But they forget that finding their passion is what will lead them to their purpose. And once they found their passion, all they have to do is to think of how they can use their passion to uplift the world.
Usually we push ourselves to find something we don't know what it is and in the process we become blind. First step is to accept that you have no clue and that it's alright. Surrender to that you don't know crap. Follow what tickles your spirit, try it out, follow up on things that interests you. Live and appreciate the present, have fun.
Always trust yourself above all else!I know that sounds a little airy fairy but sometimes other people's ideas and versions of you wont match up with your true self and it's good to stand firm in who you are and just own it.
Go towards what makes you happy. Do activities and think in a way that makes you feel joy and fulfillment. Always be aware of negative experiences are there for reasons and sometimes that reason can be simple as giving you an experience. Most often negative experiences can be used to show you what you truly desire. For example if you experience a negative interaction with another - it ends up showing you how you actually desire to interact with others and shows you what types of individuals you'd like to interact with.
As for life purpose. It's hard to find a single purpose when you have layers and layers of reasons why you opted into this life including momentary set in stone moments in time with another soul. For example you help another soul by helping them in some sort of way whether it's huge or small. By raising them as your child or by helping them by becoming their good trusted friend. We have thousands and thousands of moments when we were meant to be in certain circumstances with certain people and help in some sort of way even if its with words and small actions.
In each moment we play a part in this crazy theater of life. So to look for one single ultimate reason why you're here is in a way undervaluing your role in your life and all those that surround you. If you mean on regards to your already planned career just go for what you absolutely love. You've heard it I'm sure but you gotta do what you love and the money will follow.
What excites you? I think what stiffles a lot of people from finding their purpose is the idea that they have to make a living. They either can't think of a way to turn their passion into a profession, or they feel they won't have the time or energy to go about doing that if they are tied down with a job. Get all of that out of your head and just focus on what makes you excited. Try to figure this out when you are in a good place, otherwise, old programming might convince you that being lazy and watching TV or eating unhealthy food excite you.
Just start doing something. Take one step and the next step will be revealed. Don't expect to know everything before doing anything. You will learn and grow. When you will start walking, purpose will reveal itself.
For me, I found that as soon as I stopped doing a couple of things, my life's purpose started becoming newly revealed to me in each new day.
Stopped wondering when life was going to give me what I want, and started asking life what it wanted from me in each moment.
Stopped assuming that whatever life's purpose was for me - that I wasn't already doing it.
Wake up each morning and dedicated today to gives to life whatever it required of me.
Now life reveals more each in moment about what it created me for and needs from me.
I hope this will help you in someway. βΊ
Much love, light and blessings to everyone! π π π«

Do people really know what makes them happy? Or have the vast majority been conditioned so long that they only know what the PR/media/movies suggest is happiness?
I tend to believe many are caught in a cycle of going after goals like they go after products. They're happy when they get there but soon after they discover it was a created expectation.

Yes, you're right. Most people don't exactly know what makes them happy, or even they know, they don't take any solid actions to make it into their life for long.
Many are conditioned and tied to system they grew up in And as I've mentioned, most difficult thing comes when they can't figure out how they can turn their passion into profession and make living out of it.
Many are indeed caught in the cycle of their own created expectations.
