Birthday :

He was born on May 7, 1861 in English And 25 Bangshal Bangshal, 1268 in Jorasanko Thakur Bari, Calcutta, British India.

His pseudonym was Bhanu Singh Thakur.

His father's name was Debendranath Tagore. He was Brahma Dharmaguru.
His mother's name was Saradasundari Devi. Rabindranath was the parents of fourteen children.
In his childhood Rabindranath studied for some time in Oriental Seminary, Normal School, Bengal Academy and St. Xavier's Collegiate School in Kolkata.The education of the school was arranged for him by teaching him a tutor, because he did not want to go to school because he had more attention in his literary studies.
Rabindranath Tagore was out on a tour of the world for twelve times.

In 1906, after his fay poetry, his famous poetry book, Gitanjali, was published. In 1913, the Swedish Academy awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in the Swedish Academy for the English translation of Gitanjali. In 1915, the British Government gave him the title of Sir.

He is the author of national anthem of Bangladesh and India.

Rabindranath Tagore was the first successful short story writer of Bengali literature. He compiled his short stories to meet the needs of monthly newspapers such as Hitabad, Sadhna, Bharati, Sabuj Patra etc. Some of his notable stories are "Skeleton", "Nishith", "Manihaara", "Hungry Stones", "Wife's Letter", "Nastinir", "Kabuliwala", "Haimanti", "DanaPauna", "Muslim Story" In the last life, he made a storytelling in alphabetical writing with the lipika, he and three fellow storytellers.

Rabindranath Tagore wrote a total of 13 novels. Boat-Thakurani hat, Rajshahi, eye-sand, boats, butterflies, gora, house-to-house, chat, contact, last poem, two sisters, Malancha Haat and Rajshahi historic novels in the house of Bau-Thakurani.

Died :

He died on 7 August 1941 in Jodrajanko Tagore, Kolkata, when he was 80 years old.

He was a great poet for the society we should follow his life.
