Wheat St Towers Parking Lot renovation; the beginning

Here is yet another in a series of (to me) inefficient, inconvenient and bothersome aspects of this new place where I've lived since November 1 2018.

I am happy that the parking lot is being resurfaced, but
why are there only two men working at this (so far)?
At this rate it will be a couple of months before we can
FINALLY make use of our OWN parking lot.
I am awaiting a total hip replacement, every single step is painful,
so now until this is completed, I will be forced to walk out the
front door of the building,
AROUND the building going uphill to the parking lot where we
have been parking just to get to my car, then of course
doing it all in reverse when I get home.
