Along the destiny's thorny shore,
Walks a crew hard to core.
When tides of fate flow low,
They raise the sails from the shipwreck cove.
Harsh and coarse is the captain's wail.
On the salty waters, the earth's pail.
Divide the waters yet leave no trail
In vain they search for the lost grail.
Breaches the tides the guilded hull,
On the top of the mast a painted skull.
Innocent seals they often cull.
O'er them nothing flies, not even a sea gull.
Boasting, where the krakens reign.
Sullenly making themselves the bait
To the mermaidens their souls they trade,
On the decks of life they masquerade.
Colours they hoist high.
Pirate brethren follow them by.
Surpassing those armada they race.
While their fair cannons blaze.
Bottled misfortune they un-cork
Gulping red rum merrily they croak.
Licking the loathsome pitifully they choke
On the dead they feast with many a fork.
The light of the tower following in their misery,
Their boon and the bane the imperial victory.
In the cold depths awaits them a phantom glory.
But once dead they tell no story .
With their steel ram being brave ,
Asunder they cleave the wave.
Thunders a storm in the sea cave,
They embrace their watery grave.
