Forgiveness is divine and it takes God grace to forgive such act. This is what happens when we solely depend on humans for our happiness. Any betrayal of trust can lead such individual into doing the unimaginable. Yes, Helen is also well aware of the monster that can be created when faced with behaviour like this from someone that is supposed to love you. At the time of the affair being found out, the husband threatened to kill the person his wife had an affair with.
