This story has been sent by a retired search and rescue officer from the US. Just like we have emergency police here. In the same way America has a separate police department, whose work is to find lost people on the forests and mountains.
The stories described below are absolutely true, and have happened with the officer,
I have a very good record of finding lost people in my 35 years of service. Most people either wander on their way or slip from a hill and forget the path and can not go back. As the old saying goes - if you lose, stay where you are - so most people who are lost on the forests and hills, they get around the same and do not go anywhere. But twice I had such cases where it did not happen. Both of these cases had kept me in shake.And these cases have given me further motivation that I will find the lost people with complete confidence and the responsibility of finding the people I have been given.
The first case was a little boy who, with his own father, went to the picnic in the woods. The child and his younger sister were both lost together. Both of the children were playing with their parents, only their parents' eyes were seen for only a few seconds and both of them suddenly disappeared. When they found a lot of parents, even when the children did not get them, they called us. I went with my team to where the children had disappeared. On finding a little girl, the child got very soon. But she did not get that little boy.
When we asked the girl about her brother, she told that the brother has taken "bear uncle". He told that "Bear Uncle" gave him food to eat and told him to tell nothing to anyone. "He just wanted to play with Bhaiyya a little while," the girl said. For the last time the girl had seen her brother, she was sitting on the shoulder of "Bear Uncle" and was happy. It was obvious that our first doubt was that this is probably the case of kidnapping. And the child has been kidnapped by someone to lure them.
But even after filtering that area well, we did not find any other person to come there. The girl was repeatedly saying that she was totally different in appearance of "bear uncle", her height was very long, and her body had many hairs, like a bear, and her face was very strange. Odd bit The girl said the same. We found that area to be filtered for several weeks but the baby did not find any clue. She was one of the longest running cases of my life. In the end, we had to stop the case.
The second case was an 11-12 year old girl who had gone with her mother and grandfather to roam the hills. His mother told that he had just climbed a tree for a minute to see what else is nearby. Just then that girl did not come down from that tree. I do not know where the tree disappeared. He waxed under the tree till his hour. No shouting or noise of coming or coming.
The girl disappeared from the top of the tree as if she disappeared in the air. After weighing the hours, he contracted us. When we arrived there, we also searched the area well, but the girl did not get any information at all.
I have not understood till today that where both of the children have disappeared, and I still feel the pain of not finding any of those innocent people.
Many times when someone had to go to find a lost person, I would have left alone with my dogs. And often those investigative dogs lead me directly under a high hill. Not a small hill, but high hills Where there is no tree, no rock, no stone, just vertical high mountains. The person who had to climb a common man, did not even have a professional bus.
There were no such hills where there was no place to hold hands properly. And always the lost man got on the mountain or on the other side, too many kilometers away with the help of the helicopter. Those people did not remember how they got there.
The brain was moving, thinking how he would reach that side. There will definitely be no answer or no answer, but I have not received any reply so far.
