Donate To Your Favorite Charity…Without Spending A Dime

Do you want to help raise money for your favorite charity by taking out of MY pocket? Seriously. I'm not going to say there's no catch, because you do have to do SOMETHING...but it's next to nothing.

Here's the situation...
I want to be more charitable. I often get overwhelmed with the use of my time, so at this point in my life, I prefer to help monetarily rather than with volunteering. For quite a while, I've been thinking about giving a tiny (at least for now) portion of each paycheck.
This is where you come in...you're going to help me select a non-profit every 2 weeks!

Here is how this will be done:

1. "Like" the Achiever Beaver Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/achieverbeaver/) (be sure to select "Following" so that you see the bi-weekly updates).
2. When I start the post at the Achiever Beaver Facebook page, all you have to do is list your favorite charity in the comments section (be sure to be very specific so that I can find the correct place to make the donation). If someone already chose yours, just "like" their post and additional entries will be made.
3. I will list a cut-off time and start my selection process by using RandomResult.com. Here I will enter all of the charities I have received and a random one will be selected electronically.
4. I will share the results on the Achiever Beaver Facebook page.
5. I will then donate $25.00 to the selected charity. But that's not all...
6. My company matches my donations, so it will actually be a $50.00 donation to that given charity.

Other things you should know:

• I do not want to donate to anything I am opposed to (makes sense, right?). I'm not going to tell you what those things are, I just won't go against my beliefs, so they will just be left off the list. In that, I would like to keep politics and religion out right from the get-go (even if it's something that I believe in, I just prefer to keep those 2 out of it).

• Good examples of charities I'm happy to donate to: Medical (doing a 5k and want some help reaching your goal?), Homeless, Children, Animal, Environmental, Domestic Abuse...just about anything that helps those in need. This is just a really short list. Try me! It doesn't have to be something I'm into per se...for example, I'm not a huge dog person, but I would still be happy to donate to a dog rescue non-profit.

• There is no limit to how many times you enter your charity. You're welcome to come back every 2 weeks when it's time to do it again.

• Spread the word! Tell your friends and family to participate in my weekly random drawing.
