Society is bombarded with evidence of poverty; we don't need to be convinced of its side effects. Do you have any solutions to propose?

I have some if you'd like to hear. Privatize everything. If someone can make a few hundred dollars a week filling needs in society, then let them. Clearly the government's methods aren't working. Government depends on poverty, because impoverished people can still vote for hope and change, to their own demise.
