Bonfire in winter

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

Dear Steemians...

Bonfire is a controlled outdoor fire made from bundles of straw or wood. The word comes from "bone fire" because in the beginning festivals used to hold, where animal bones were burnt to avoid evil spirits. But nowadays bonfire is used for warmth gatherings in winters and for entertainment, usually arranged at nights.

I along with my friends arranged a bonfire in Thandiani. We burnt leaves and sticks in cold weather for warmth and arranged B.B.Q with it. We had so much fun. We kept talking all night and kept arranging woods for the fire to keep burning. We captured some pictures using our mobile phones.
