A couple of hundred years old Indian men's menu has been auctioned in the auctions. The price of which is fixed at 8,500 pounds.
Sheikh Deen Mohammad of Patna city of India, 200 years ago, opened the first Indian restaurant in George Street in London. Jardines Antarquerean Books bought the publishing menu on Saturday at the ABA Rey Book Fair in London.
In 1810, the menu was written in Hindustani Coffee House near Portman Square in London. On Twitter, organizers said on Twitter that there are more than 25 snack food items, including chicken and poultry, in the menu.
There is a long history of Indian food in the UK. In 1747, Hannah Close wrote a book of women named The Indian Food Menu.
On the other hand, Mohammed was one of the Indian immigrants living in the UK. He also introduced hair shampoos in the first place.
