Meditate Your Anxiety and Stresses Away! HOORRAY!!!👏

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

Buddha was asked what have you gained from meditation?

To which he replied,

Nothing, however, let me tell you what I have lost - Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Insecurity, fear of Old Age and Death.

Meditation is the perfect aid to live a happy fulfilling life as it quenches negative thoughts and energies that we extract and carry around with us daily. All the factors that cause happiness mentioned above prevent us from happiness. Mediation on a regular basis opens our brain to new ideas and solutions to our problems while being fun at the same time!

Here are some that I feel most enjoyable. I hope that if you practice, or are practicing the same you are feeling your own personal transformation :)

I do think that we all believe in something. Even people who are not religious believe in a higher power. The beauty of this meditation is the feeling it brings you , that you are, in essence, praying to that higher power.
I love this because you experience the most pleasant awareness that you are casting all your worries and stresses away to this divine being.💙
I even feel the sensation that this divine knows exactly how I feel. By sitting 15-30 minutes a day thinking and reflecting on what you hope to achieve, you are creating the very mindset that will use every opportunity as a means to get you to your goal. You also are relaxing your thoughts and boosting both mind and spirit.

This is a great meditation for outdoors. Unfortunately, I am not living in the ideal setting for this one as I reside in the town. I do dream of living in the countryside one day, and this is exactly what I think about as I yearn and hold on to this thought - the concept of focusing on the sounds of nature. When you listen to the singing of the birds, the gentle breeze passing you by, the rustling of the trees.- you are concentrating on the worlds own tune around you, at it's most natural level.
Doing this as you lay or sit, whichever is most comfortable for 15-20 mins will calm your mind. Studying the sounds around you will cause your mind to be more sharp and alert.

If you, like me do not have the pleasure of living in the countryside, the sounds outside can become more bothersome than meditative. Therefore this meditation may prove to be more practical.
This simply involves focusing on the movement of your body. There is a lot we don't even focus on happening with our own body's by the second. We can take this for granted. Focusing on your breathing, your hear beat, even moving your head from left to right or raising your arms and leaving them fall will cause you to become aware of the different sensations. You will be surprised how relaxing and enjoyable this can be.
10-15 minutes is good practice. Remembering that you are leaving the worries stored inside your brain ( yes, sometimes I feel I can physically feel them there)- out through your limbs and sending them on a vacation someplace else :)Bon Voyage!💼😆
Even if you stop worrying for the 10-15 minutes, for the length of time that you are meditating is a win win!

This is where you hear another voice guiding you through your thought processes, and is a wonderful way for your subconscious state of mind to give you the answers you didn't realize you were even searching for. I find lots of these on youtube and find them incredibly relaxing, especially before bedtime.

It's all about finding answers, rest, and above all... happiness!

Nice blog! Is there a meditation for feeling alone?

Oh I just thought of an idea, you can play nature sounds on YouTube.

Oh Gosh I love that . My favorite sounds are the sounds of crickets outside. We haven't got that here in Ireland , so that's my favorite when I go on holidays :) ...

so to compromise , that's what I listen out for on youtube for meditative sounds!

You can find any kind of nature sounds on YouTube.

You sure can its great!!!

I really need to find time to meditate. I think it would help me a lot :)
I will search for Buddha...

love it :)
