Is gothic still relevant?

in life •  5 years ago

I'll be 68 this coming December 12, so I really haven't gotten into the Gothic scene -- that is, if you're talking about the black hair, body piercings, dark clothing, etc.

If it's still relevant to you, then it's still relevant.

Hopefully, the body piercings in places like eyebrows, tongues, lips, nipples, and genital areas will become unfashionable, as I see them as unhealthy is a lot of ways, due to the risk of infection and the danger of getting a piece of jewelry caught on something and really ripping your skin which might cause serious permanent damage well beyond simply scarring.

However, it's safe enough to dye your hair, wear dark clothing, etc. so, if it's your thing, go for it.
