Yep, you read it right!
Let me explain why. So, I was strolling down the Chatham street, located in Colombo where one can see pubs and restaurants left and right. From the architecture to the food, everything has a colonial influence and is incredibly beautiful. As we were wandering around, my friend called out to me to see something which simply blew my mind away!
It was the "T"- Lounge by Dilmah!
The interior was just mind blowing! You would definitely walk in even if you were not a tea lover. I absolutely loved their idea of display and little things such as bookmarks and postcards which were again all about tea.
Those are all tea cans around the stairs! Simply genius, no?
This is the entry for the café where you can get a little peak of what's inside when you are right outside.
In the extreme left you can see a silver can inside a glass box, which is a specific type of Black tea. (Forgot to get a close-up picture) The interesting part was that it is harvested only once in a year and costs about 8000 Sri Lankan Rupees!

The incredible menu which had the most unexpected flavours of tea.

I had to wait for 3 minutes as was instructed which felt like ages because of the heavenly aroma of the tea.
That's true love for me. Right there.
I was also having a look around when this person who worked there started explaining about tea and how they also have a chain back here in India! It was incredibly sweet of him to give me these bookmarks :)
I picked up the "blueberry tea" and happily walked away after 3 hours :P I am so thrilled to try it out now that I am back home, which I will definitely share with you guys soon!

We all crave for a place away from the chaotic world, where we can just shut ourselves away from everything and everyone and just be connected with selves. My fav place has a huge window with nothing but greenery outside. I usually sit there with a cup of coffee and book.
