What is correction?
Correction, in this context, involves the act of informing one of one's error or shortcomings.
How do you take corrections when it is given?
It's awesome that we could be found to be imperfect in certain things and then we get to be corrected.
- Corrections are most times seen as spiteful instead of being seen as given out of a good gesture.
- Corrections are most times not nice to whom it is given.
- Those that gives corrections are always at the receiving end of hot emotions of being hated and resented.
- Some are given corrections and they get defensive instead of thinking from the corrector's perspective and see the need to be corrected actually.
Some may say, "I do not need to correct anything here, that's my kind of person please!"
Not true, we are bigger than anything that puts a dent in our relationship with others.

For example, if you get corrections on the issue of displaying anger, it's not a time to get angry again or a time to think about the way the correction was given(rude or not) but instead take conscious breaths as many times as possible and a time to reflect on finding solutions and be grateful to the corrector for seeing you as someone bigger than anger because anger is not you.

Anger is what one chooses to feel and there are ways to consciously control it even when you got to debase yourself feeling it instead of feeling your own self. We tend to lose ourselves and our consciousness when we indulge in anger, on things and emotions that could affect our relationship with others.

So, whenever we get corrected, it's a time to feel our presence, a time to be conscious about our own consciousness, a time to know that we are existing in existence and a time to know that we are real in reality.
