55 elephant deaths in five years in West Bengal due to train injuries

According to the railway sources, the train was hit by 19 in 2013, 5 in 2014, 12 in 2015, 9 in 2016 and 10 elephants in the year 2017.

Meanwhile, the North East Frontier Railway (NFR) authority in West Bengal started using innovative methods to reduce the death of elephants in the train. They are playing the four-level crossing bees with a buzzing record from the Elephant Zone. The railway authorities claim that there is no elephant in the bee whisper.

The noise that sounds like the NFR bees is heard from 600 meters away. The buzz has been downloaded from the Internet. Railway authorities claim that there is a lot of benefits in low cost.

Since the end of 2017 the railway authorities have begun using bees. Apart from this, there are instructions to run slow trains in the Elephant zone. Apart from this, the railway authorities have taken an initiative to install special type of fencing along the railway tracks to prevent elephants.
