Trust- noun : the act of placing confidence in someone or something else—is a fundamental human experience, necessary for society to function and for any person to be relatively happy. Without it, fear rules. Trust is not an either/or proposition, but a matter of degree and certain life experiences can impact a person's ability to trust others. A fundamental to a relationship.
A lot of people have this problem, and it is a big problem for so many people because it is so hard to regain someone's trust. Gaining trust is very difficult because once you lose your trust, you set yourself back 100 steps, but when you start to gain ones' trust, you go forward one step at a time...I don't know if that made any sense to you but you understand what im trying to say.
Basically, if you have a lot of trust with someone, and you get caught up in a lie, your trust has been lost, and it is just so easy to lose all trust someone has for you. And regaining trust is very difficult because even when you start to be completely honest, people start making up assumptions about you and assumptions that you have done stuff you haven't really done, which I could understand why, because you have a bad reputation with them, and that's just what comes with it, when you lose someones' trust, they are going to make up things or assume things about you or things that you did since you don't have much trust with you and whatever you may or may not have done is such a big grey area.
But that is all some of the stuff that comes with losing one's trust, but the good thing to know is once you have completely confessed your part and came completely clean, even if they still don't believe you, you will know deep down inside that you didn't do anything wrong, and personal peace/enlightenment is key. So when people assume things about you or make up stuff about you when they don't have much trust in you, just prove them wrong because you know that you didn't do anything
