My "work" today

I have to be the first to admit that I am almost addicted to steemit, spending almost all my awake time reading posts and blogs here and learning so much.

But alas... I had to take time off steemit today and actually head out for a magic show... yes, my work if you may call it, is performing magic shows. I perform children shows, family shows and shows for corporate events as well.

Today was for a children birthday party show. The children were a little older than what we expected at a children's birthday party but still a whole lot of fun nonetheless. Sandra was the name of the birthday girl :)

They were swimming before the magic show began so that explains why some of the children are in swimsuits and in fact, you can see the beautiful pool behind. The swimming according to the birthday girl's dad was so that the children who came straight after school can freshen up. I didn't bring it up but I thought a birthday party on a Thursday afternoon was kind of weird. Business being business, my opinion shouldn't matter ;)

My job was to make the party fun and memorable, putting smiles and generating laughter, and so I did.

Needless to say, I probably had as much fun as the children :)
