The story is like this! I made a deposit in CASH in a ATM machine on Friday the 16th around 10pm. That night I checked my balance online to confirm if my deposit went through. My balance was good as expected. I made a purchase online that night with my debit card and a few more the following days. Monday, I had an email saying that my account was overdrawn. I check my account and the bank charge me $36 USD extra per each transaction that I did Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Over $200USD on fees only.
I called the bank and they told me that my deposit was done the 19th not the 16th. I did not have the receive at the moment but I was 100% sure that my deposit was the 16th.
This is what happened! PNC BANK do not process your deposit after 10pm even if it is cash, they will post it in their leger the next business day. So according to them I did not have the money after the purchases although the my online banking shows otherwise. What is "funny" is that I was there the following Saturday morning in the branch office to make another cash deposit and it turns out that the money appears in the leger the very the same day.
I explain this over and over again to so many people in the bank and none of them could do anything. So I closed my account, because they are a bunch of thiefs. DO NOT USE PCN BANK
