Losing loved ones. Watercolor.

Every family has a pet: someone loves dogs, someone cats. Someone hamster, parrot, turtle or ferret. But sooner or later, it's time to say goodbye. It's a world-class tragedy for children, especially if they grew up with animals: they shared single toys and playgrounds. Adults are used to hiding their feelings.

In the distant year of 2008, a dog appeared in our family. The Central Asian Shepherd, which we called Kado. Why Kado? In translation from French «cadeau» it is a "gift". Indeed, despite the formidable appearance and the huge mouth - it was a good dog. Yes, there were times when he was naughty and churned out chairs, or ran outside, breaking off with a leash. But in all his life he never bitten a man. He loved children very much, like them: big and warm plush toy)))

But years went by. And let the dog for 10 years not a limit, our Kado could not cross this threshold. It was not a week ago. Nothing was foreshadowing trouble, yes, sick joints, that practically all the dogs of large rocks are present in one form or another. And everything else is a completely healthy dog. Everything happened quickly: here he rides on the street and bangs on passersby for the fence, and after a couple of hours he is no longer there. The swelling of the intestines that the dogs proceed very quickly and even timely help (emergency surgery) does not guarantee recovery and further life. But we did not have time to help.

Almost ten years near. At first it seemed that he would run out of the corner and would joyfully wail his tail. But there will not be any more. Behind the fence are the dogs with the masters, and now Kado will bury them ... .on will no longer be. It is very sad, and at the same time comes the understanding that life is not eternal. I must survive the loss, take ... and let it go.

Usually, I miss all my emotions through the prism of colors. So in this situation ... cold watercolor and a few sketch memories.
