Thank you for sharing this! I don't think enough people realize the power, peace and control that meditation can bring into their lives. I thought I would just add that meditation, or complete focus on the present moment, can also be effective while doing other activities, such as walking and listening to relaxing music. You're welcome, @amandac! You're absolutely right, you can meditate while doing nearly anything. I like to practice mindfulness and conscious breathing while doing menial things like cleaning dishes or sweeping the floor. It really helps you to focus and use that time for something beneficial.
