Inner strength. Perseverance. Luck.
Over the past few years I have become really passionate about reading tarot. There are a variety of different spreads you can do with tarot cards based on what you want to know. You shuffle the cards, pick at random and depending on where they land in the spread they represent a different aspect to look at as every card has it's own personal meaning.
For the energy of the day reading I decided to do a 3 card spread.
I shuffled the deck while thinking of my intention and spread the cards out in front of me face down.
I ran my fingers over every card and picked 3 cards at random.
I laid them out in a row and flipped them over to reveal what they were.
Card number 1 : This card is important because it represents the overall energy of the day.
Card number 2 : This card focuses on obstacles, what you need to act on or attend to, blockages.
Card number 3 : This card reveals the positive results you can look forward to.
Card 1 : Energy of the day - Courage, Inner Strength
The girl in this image is face to face with a dragon but she is not afraid. She is looking into its eyes with compassion and love. She is in control of herself and of the dragon with her powerful energy.
The card of the day which represents strength refers to your own personal inner power. If you feel there is a strong force in your life that has the ability to scare you in some ways, realize that you have all the power within you to be able to control it. The strength card in tarot also represents your ability to balance your spiritual, mental and physical strength. Keep pushing on despite your fears and do so with love and perseverance and you will be sure to succeed and be in harmony with whatever your obstacle may be.
Card 2 : Obstacles- Struggle, Oppression
The tarot image shows a woman climbing a steep and rocky mountain. Her eyes are completely focused on the dragon at the top (her goal). Even though she is currently in a state of struggle as she has the obstacle of climbing the mountain, she is continuing to push towards her destination.
The interference card of the day represents what you are going through that is causing you some discomfort. You may be currently working very hard at attaining your goal or desire, and feel you cannot stop but are struggling to reach it. There may be some obstacles in your way that you have to push through. You may be working super hard but keep feeling oppression. The key is pausing, taking a small break to re-find yourself and then continue working towards your desires once you have fully defined them.
Card 3 : Future Results - Luck, Cycles
This tarot card shows an image of a dragon hand holding open a big book with the image of a large eight-spoke Celtic wheel, which is an ancient symbol that life cycles through patterns. The smaller symbol under the text represents fate. They both represent the cycles of life, ups and downs and karma. Going forward, backwards. Negative and positive. That everything is flowing and always changing.
The wheel card in tarot represents a turning point or fate. You will soon enter a period where you will be able to accomplish great things and luck will be on your side. Life is constantly in a natural cycle of ups and downs but you have to be ready for opportunities of good things that will come your way. It is a time of new beginnings and entering a new cycle. If opportunities show up that seem to be a turning point in your life don't hold back from them.
Conclusion :
What I've come to from this reading is that there may be some big obstacle in your life that is feeling a bit overwhelming to overcome. If you stay strong and know you are the master of your own energy your luck will turn and a new cycle will start. You will be able to reach your goals and be in a new positive position in your life in regards to what you want.
