Sink hole

With all the dry weather a sink hole is opening up 50 meters from the Dublin city councils road maintenance office. I wonder how long it will take them to fix it. I stuck a bin in it to warn cyclists. My good deed for the day.

    Normally it tooks very long till sink holes like that are fixed.

    I've seen some videos on The Facebook of one that was fixed in Japan the same day it happened. The Irish will have to have a referendum and consultation with the pope before they do anything.

    Full disclosure , the guys we there the next morning to throw a couple of buckets of Tarmac into the hole. In my opinion not a great fix but at least its safer. I think my wifes tweeting about it got them on the job.

    I did worry about that, We live in a crazy world. Someone could also sue me if they run into my bin.
    The sink hole only opened up this afternoon within view of my apartment and my wife was nearly a victim on her bike. I hope it doesn't grow any bigger and swallow my whole apartment block. The road around it seems to be to be dipping around the hole. I'll keep this post posted.
