Living with a Complex Disease

Vitiligo;
It looks lovely in photos but try living with it.

Try getting a waitressing job, being an agent, taken seriously in business, or just going out in public.

Try listening to people say that you just need confidence classes when you're in fact usually over confident.

People like this used to be in freak shows; leopard lady, cow man, zebra, cat... an animal.

You know not to stare at most
disabilities, but somewhere along the way you forget that those with vitiligo are human too.

The front-end isn't letting me code my post.

But we got a special model with Vitiligo to show that life is possible

This is true and she's beautiful.

I've only recently began to feel insecure again.
Being a model and showing her skin is considerably diff from people not wanting to sit with me on a bus.

Or, yesterday the entire front half of the bus kept looking. One woman wanted to see what everyone was looking at so she ACTUALLY got up and walked towards me.

I'm a bit of a big mouth- I was using all my "be nice Ana" energy. 😆

I can’t imagine and I feel for you, and the world is not so tolerate as it needs to be. But the strongest is ignore the ignorent but I know it’s ssid by the blond without vitiligo !
I love the fact that you blog about it !
