Why nobody cares about the U.S. selection

in life •  8 years ago  (edited)

When Obama first took office in 2009, the US debt was ~10.6 trillion dollars. Eight years later it now stands at 19.5 trillion; effectively doubling the entire national debt. Now we're scheduled to hit the 20 trillion mark shortly with no sign of stopping.

This isn't a partisan issue. Bush also doubled the debt during his term. If you're wondering why people aren't excited for the election, it has nothing to do with misogyny. Our future's are literally being destroyed and nobody's talking about it.

Now, now @andrewrobbins, you're being just a wee bit presumptuous aren't you? Do you really expect me to miss an episode of The Big Bang Theory to instead focus on my future and the state of world affairs?

LOL.

Except that's not really how it works.

And plenty of people care about the election.

Or have you not noticed that you see nothing but politics on Facebook lately?
