Ok so I'm sure most people here have heard about the Georgia Guide stones. I just wanted to start a discussion of what you guys and gals think these things are for? Obviously "they" went through a lot of trouble to place these....and it's not like it's a tourist attraction.
These modern day monoliths were erected in 1980, and the following sort of cryptic messages can be found inscribed on them:
- Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
- Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
- Unite humanity with a living new language.
- Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
- Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
- Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
- Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
- Balance personal rights with social duties.
- Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
- Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.
So many think that this pertains to the "ruling elites" depopulation agenda....but what do you think?
I have been to see them and I don't see their logic it doesn't line up with anything. I am like you I am left with the question who would do this and why. It's a lot of money spent on gobbilly gook.

Visited the guidestones in 2015. My son and I spent two weeks motorcycling the southeast. We met the man who owns the land (we'll protect his identity, nice fellow) he let us set up a camp near his equipment barn about a quarter mile from the stones. I left not having much of an opinion either way. I found the statements both hopeful and somewhat ignorant. Not putting them down, just didn't click for me. If there is a sinister side I didn't see that either. I would have written them quite differently. But, I don't have the money for anything that extravagant!
