Aldi never fails to give people the "wow" factor.........or maybe it is just me.

An involuntary 'wow' came from me as I walked through the doors of the newly revamped Aldi supermarket at Kawana Shopping Centre. What an impressive upmarket change! Reassuringly, Wasn't the only one, other people were taken back with the transformation of the store, it was so different. What happened to the somewhat quaint old shop we used to have? I knew where everything was!

Oh well, out with the old and in the with the new!

Walking past the specials positioned in the middle part of the store is always a must just in case one finds a bargain. Today it was a camping theme intermingled with lots of other odds and ends including children's toys. If I see something extraordinarily creative and fun for the 2 year old. Christmas is coming! Spending money on non-food things is a reality for me at Aldi.

I stocked up on a couple of big sized children's books by well known authors. They are cheap, only $9.99 and what little one would not like this book?

What really caught my eye was a big cardboard box with the words Cat Tractor for little ones aged 3+ for $199.99. Wow, (yes that wow again), I can see my 2 year old loving this bigger than life tractor. Then, the thinking took over, he is not quite 3, it is expensive, but it is worth the fun of getting in this tractor!

But, what really made me smile was an older lady asking me if it was actually a man sized tractor? It looks impressive says I, as I pointed to the 3+ age sign on the box.

Cheers
