Continuing from last week this is my 5th day in Cologne, Germany. I am living with two guys in Deutzer Ring 5, Anas Farraj from Palestine and Gerardo from Spain. They are both students like me in TH Koln like me. My dormitory is just 3 minutes away fro my campus by walking. I also met with two other exchange students from Costa Rica and Columbia, Veronica and Melisa. We three spend our time together and visit all the tourist sites when we get the time.

We were accompanied by Farah, an undergraduate student in TH Koln who assisted us in city registration, opening bank account and other activities. I noticed that many people working in banks and government offices can speak good English but they will not speak it unless requested. Otherwise, German people are quite friendly, which I will discuss in my next article. Still, let me share an incident with you guys.
I was walking on the platform, waiting for a train to go back to my dormitory. Suddenly, A German guy started asking me something in German. Since I did not know any German, I asked him to say the same thing in English since I do not know German. He asked me if I can lend him 2 Euros. I gave it to him immediately and received a note of thanks from him.
I will come back next week to discuss more about my experiences related to my challenges and other things.
Germany !!! I love it !!! i have been there
